Founder, Owner, Farmer: Will Leibee
The Hudson Valley's best flower - priced by the people who grew it.
Our roots are at Back Home Farm in High Falls, New York, where years of organic farming in the Hudson Valley shaped the way we think about what we grow. Vegetables, herbs, flowers and eventually cannabis were all approached with the same philosophy: care for the soil, work with nature, and never lose sight of quality.
When New York opened the door to legal adult-use, we didn't have to learn the plant — we'd been advocating for it, and growing it, for most of our lives. Those farming roots became Back Home Cannabis Co., and in 2022 we sold New York's first legal recreational cannabis product.
What changed was the room. Genetics and a farmer's eye only take you so far — consistency is decided by everything you can measure. Our flower now grows in purpose-built rooms where light, temperature, humidity and feed are held to the degree, and every batch is tracked from seed to trim and third-party tested before it reaches a shelf. Old knowledge, run precisely. The lab results are published on every product we sell.
We hold the growers we buy from to the same line. Our shelves carry our own flower alongside a number of New York growers and makers we know personally — people whose rooms we've walked and whose test results we've read.
Today, the story has come full circle. From our farm in High Falls to our dispensary in Stone Ridge, Back Home is about keeping cannabis connected to the place and the people behind it — somewhere to shop locally, ask real questions, and find something that fits you.
Farm grown. Hudson Valley rooted. Always Back Home.
